What We Do
At Gunner Hill Farm, we specialize in ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, with a breeding program focused on exceptional dairy genetics, conformation, and breed improvement. But you don't have to be looking for a show goat to find a goat at Gunner Hill Farm. Not every goat born here will remain in our breeding program, and some of our best companions are wethers, retired does, and other goats we have decided are better suited to life as pets or homestead companions.
These goats come from the same carefully managed herd, with the same attention to health, nutrition, hoof care, and overall well-being. If you're simply looking for a couple of friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats to enjoy around your homestead, we'd be happy to help you find the right fit.
What we don't try to compete on is being the cheapest place to buy a goat. A healthy goat costs money to raise, whether or not you intend to show or breed it. Our goats receive routine veterinary care, disease testing, proper nutrition, hoof care, and daily attention from the time they are born. Registration may not matter to you as a pet owner and that's perfectly reasonable. The ability to register a goat does not, by itself, raise our prices. But the care that goes into raising a healthy goat still matters and we believe THAT is worth paying for.

Whether you're looking for a family milk goat, breeding stock, an animal with the potential to compete in ADGA performance programs, or simply a well-raised companion, our goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized goats that will be an asset to your herd or homestead for years to come.
Delivery or Pick-up
We offer flexible options for getting your purchases to you, whether it's through pick-up, meet-up, or delivery.
Please note that our current travel radius extends up to 65 miles from Almond, Wisconsin. For deliveries, a round trip fee of $1.25 per mile and a deposit will be required (on a case-by-case basis). Please note that if you are slow or unclear in your communications, we may not be willing to chance a no-show meeting. Thank you for understanding!
For example, 60 miles one-way means a fee of $150 (60 x 2 = 120 miles x $1.25)

Gunner Hill Farm was born from years of dreaming about a farm life filled with self-sustainability. Our name pays homage to our former Tennessee residence, nestled atop a hill, and to our cherished family dog, Gunner, who sadly departed in April 2023. His memory lives on, fueling our enthusiasm for this new Wisconsin adventure.
