Heather is an unregistered Nigerian Dwarf doe who has freshened once (May 2025). She has been exposed to our herd sire and, if bred, would be due in May or June 2026.
She would make a great choice for a beginning homestead as an experienced doe who has already gone through a kidding and is well-suited for someone looking to add a practical, easygoing goat. Heather has been managed with routine care and is accustomed to standard herd handling and management.
She would do well as part of a small homestead herd, whether for companionship, milk for the household, or gaining experience with breeding and kidding.

All of our goats are raised with health and long-term success in mind. We test for diseases including Johne’s, CAE, and CL. If we have the kids long enough before pickup, basic care typically includes disbudding at 10–14 days, CDT vaccination, banding for bucklings around 10 weeks, hoof trimming if needed, and tattooing to comply with USDA Scrapie regulations, along with general daily care. Nigerian Dwarf goats are smaller (does should stand no taller than 22.5 inches and bucks 23.5 inches) and come in a variety of colors. There is no weight standard but they generally average about 75 pounds. They are the perfect addition to any farm or backyard. These adorable and friendly creatures are small in size, but big on personality. Not only are they great for milk (with a high percentage of butterfat/cream) and meat production, but they also make fantastic pets. With their playful and affectionate nature, Nigerian Dwarf goats are sure to bring joy and entertainment to any household. They also make a great project for a 4H or FFA member. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add these delightful goats to your life.
"It climbs rocks with nimble feet,
And bleats a sound so sweet,
With eyes that twinkle and a curious nose,
It's hard not to love this creature, I suppose."
